Polaroid announces Android-powered SC1630 Smart Camera, slated for release this year -- Engadget
Something like this was inevitable from one of the big camera manufacturers, but I’m surprised (though happy) it was Polaroid that jumped first.
The compact camera market will be totally dead in 5 years, and hybrids like this will be what everyone uses if they’re not going analog or pro.
